Person County Historical Society Cemeteries

In order to insure the care of cemeteries and to make access available, several cemeteries have been deeded to the Society by the famlies who prevously owned them.

The Person County Historical Society owns the following cemeteries:

1. Edwin Johnson Robertson Jr Cemetery at Woodsdale

2. Woodsdale Methodist Episcopal Church - Woody Cemetery - at Woodsdale (adjacent to Robertson Cemetery above)

3. John Bumpass Sr Cemetery located on Old Allensville Road, 100 yds west of intersection of Reuben Allen Road

4. Townsend Cemetery on Gap Farm Rd off 158E

5. Williamson Cemetery on Industrial Dr
