Directions: From Roxboro, take Hurdle Mills Road (157) to right on Hassle Horton Road. Cemetery is on right.
Access: Down farm path past cabin and across creek. Deep in private property.

2. (Scratched on native stone) Martha / MOORE / 1850 / ( Martha Hargis b. Jul 23, 1774 d. Dec 5, 1850 wife of John Moore)

These 2 graves along with 2 others are within a rock wall. There are 30 or more graves outside wall marked by fieldstone and/or depression. According to land deed research done by Sue Moore Neuman, the unmarked graves would be associated with the HARGIS family.
