Location: Shiloh Church Road behind the fire department. Directions: From Roxboro on Woodsdale Road (SR 1326 ) to right on Shiloh Church Road (SR 1322). Go 1 mile to farm road on right just beyond fire department. Cemetery is ¾ mile down the farm road. Access: This cemetery is deep within private property. The farm path will take you past the cemetery off to the right in woods about ¾ mile from Shiloh Church Road. Survey: April 2005 by Ken Dalton and Becky Farlow GPS: 36 29 24.5 N 078 56 28.5 W Notes: Person County Heritage Volume 1 Article 582 (Moses Jones) has more information on this family. Moses is brother of Griffin Jones (see Griffin Jones cemetery survey) This cemetery was included in the Person County WPA Cemetery Survey. It is identified as #106 in the list of WPA cemeteries on this web site. The WPA survey of this cemetery was apparently done in 1936 and found three graves, those of C. Y. Jones, Joana B Jones, and Moses Jones. The directions included in the WPA suvery were: "NC Route 55 north from Roxboro, about nine miles, left on Woodsdale one mile then left 1/2 mile to old Jones Farm." Graves There are as many as 50 fieldstones and depressions in a large periwinkle covered area.
