| Location: 1109 Hurdle Mills Road
(SR1506) about ¾ mile into woods on the Norris farm. Directions: From Roxboro, take Hurdle Mills Road past Hurdle Mills to left across from Hawkins Loop Road. Down farm paths and through woods. Access: ¾ in woods on private property. Permission and guidance recommended. Survey: Nov 2005 by Ken and Becky Dalton GPS: 36 15 07.4 N 079 03 40.2 W Graves: There are 15 to 20 apparent graves, marked either by fieldstones or depressions. The Norris family, owners of the property, has always known this cemetery as the Cates cemetery.
