| Location: Across from 2110 Peed Road Directions: From Roxboro, 158E to right on Mt Harmony Church Road (SR 1721) to left on Peed Road. Cemetery is behind remains of block church on left. Access: The church has drive that can be used to pull off road. Then walk past church toward an outhouse (in 2005). Graves are in edge of woods. Survey: March 2005 by Ken Dalton and Becky Farlow GPS: 36 18 39.9 N 078 49 27.3 W Cash Grove is an African-American church that was abandoned about 1960. According to our source, the church was built on Mr. Cash’s land and he was the pastor. When he died, it died. If anyone has additional info on this church or these people please let us know. Graves: 1. (This grave is marked by a depression and unreadable temporary marker. Joe CASH, died about 1960. He was the brother of Sonie Cash according to relative of Joe Cash. See the Cash - Clark Cemetery.) 2. (This grave is marked by a depression in line with the first grave. This grave is known to be wife of Joe Cash) |
