Church Road (SR 1721) Directions: From Roxboro, 158E to right on Mt Harmony Church Road to right on Medford Oakley Road. At end of road next to road look for boxwoods. Access: On private property but near the road and semi-maintained. Survey: Mar 2005 by Ken Dalton and Becky Farlow GPS: 36 17 48.4 N 078 52 01.3 W Graves: 1 - Nancy COZART / Born / Jun 19, 1803 / Died / Mar 31, 1884 (2nd husband was Deerhead John Bumpass. 1st husband was Simon Clements. Her parents were Hubbard Cozart 2nd and Mary Howard) 2 - Charles M / son of / S & SJ BUMPASS / Born / Mar 21, 1884 / Died / Jul 18, 1885 There are perhaps a dozen unmarked graves. |
