The Society's purpose is the investigation and preservation of Person County's history for study today and by future generations.

Publications	The Person County Historical Society publishes a number of books useful to genealogists the most notable being the three volume Heritage of Person County. Prices and ordering instructions are provided.
Cemeteries	The Person County Historical Society owns and maintains a number of cemeteries in Person County. Link to a list of these cemeteries.
